Maps of Actor Network Index,
Batticaloa, Sri Lanka

Mearch publishes programme overview maps, also know as "who-what-where" maps. The maps provide overview per divisional secretariat. Using a index formula taking into account three contributing factors. First, the number of actors involved, second, the extent of sectoral coverage and thirdly, the diversity of organisations involved. All of this is indexed and presented into one figure: the Actor Network Index (ANI). The ANI-maps are indicative for how agencies are spread out over the administrative boundaries of the district, the divisional secretariats (DSs) and at the most detailed level, the Grama Niladhari (GN).

N.B. due to the complexity of compairing individual programmes into an index, the ANI-maps are only as an indicative.
